This game is amazing. Yes, there are ads in between puzzles, and even in the midst of a puzzle. It's kinda annoying because you sometimes you lose focus and forget where you're getting at. At the same time, because I play mostly at the expert model, it tells me that I'm right when I'm doing trial and error or guessing where the right one is. I rarely see ads while playing hard/normal/easy mode. For the people who are complaining about losing heart, you can choose to play classic mode in settings

I used to have a 4 star review but I have to edit that. In an update a while ago they made ads too prevalent. If I close my phone for a minute after having started on a level (which naturally requires an ad) it throws another ad in my face for the same level. Just for closing the phone for a few moments. This is just extremely annoying and it's a shame because other than that I've enjoyed this app for a long time now. If this changes I'll edit it back.

The game itself is nice when you need a short distraction or want some brain teasers, but there are many issues with the app. Some examples include: No difficulty selection, only a next level of a random difficulty; Daily goals are too high, even getting more difficult during the day (increased from 35 to 50 levels after completing 30); No zoom ability; No progress saving between devices; Overall functional with annoying quirks.
