I love this game, but going to have to knock off 2 stars from my previous 5* review because the movement is straight up awful. I get that it's a throwback to the old directional movement in these games, but we had arrow keys then. This is a tiny, cramped directional button interface mashed up against the spells. Probably great on a tablet, but just way too clunky on a phone (S23 Ultra). Game is otherwise great, sorry to have to pick on one flaw but it genuinely makes the game unenjoyable.

It's surprisingly good considering that it has only one developer. I can't imagine all the work that went into it. It's a polished old-school dungeon crawler that does not benefit from its P2W model designed to frustrate players into spending inordinate amounts of money on overpriced inventory space, so I knocked off one star. The price of a small improvement in inventory space is the cost of a complete AAA game. I knocked off a second star for its totally broken, useless RNG crafting system.

Fun and satisfying first person dungeon crawler. This is the one everyone is probably looking for but didn't know. It has that old feel with new styles, but in a good way. This game looks resource heavy, but hut it isn't. I played this years ago on an old phone with no problems. There's a crafting system that I don't understand, but the game doesn't require you to use it. I've gotten by fine. There's a lot of options on how you can play this game, even if you want to dodge and run while fighting

Original Elder Scrolls 1&2, the first Dungeons and Dragons video game, etc... great story and dialog. Alot of love went into this experience! All by one developer? color me impressed. [Would like the ability to customize the UI; position, size, etc.] Keep up the great work, and keep on keepin on!!!

EDIT (from 5*) I've played a bit of this game, and I still do like it. It has a good bit of content, mini games, tons of loot and enemies... I just can't seem to get away from the thought that the controls are... not great. I get that the directional arrow, tile-based movement is nostalgic and a callback to older games but, it just seems to needlessly confound gameplay here. Especially because enemies still move in free-form. I find myself playing, just wishing the movement was different.
