The shortcuts added to this game to make it beatable on a mobile device using touch controls lead to this game being an awful port. Having the game play itself is extremely awkward and not having the choice for fine movement because as soon as the hammer touches the ground it puts you in the air whether you like it or not. The little UI there is in this game looks so cheap.

Controls make as much sense as my mom's old diaries(she's a meth adict). I've played(and beaten)a well made copy of this game, on mobile, that was designed for pc. This game very commonly has hammer glitches, unpredictable grip, unpredictable hammer movements, and is generally an annoying experience. I suggest adding a cursor or dot for the hammer to follow. The hammer tries to point where you came from, which makes it impossible to save a fall. Missing text. Please improve your game. Thank you.

Extremely frustrating, and it's part of the charm of this game. One wrong move can send you right back to the start, and it'll take a lot of practise to make any progress in some sections. The controls could be better. They're alright when you're wildly swinging around, but when making more delicate movements they can be janky. Although the game is supposed to be frustrating, the janky controls are something that's not the player's fault. Graphics are alright, commentary is delightful.

I like the game, and I know it's about the experience. The problem is the controls are much more difficult to manage on mobile. I've tried the Steam version of it, the controls were easier to manage. I wish the swipes don't have the same intensity like you should be able to either go slow and easy or go fast and hard, like on PC. The swings are always the same intensity on mobile so you can't really control your positioning.

Despite the difficulty, I genuinely love this game, but I can only imagine it's easier to play on a computer when I'm not getting friction burns on my finger and fighting with the restrictions of my cheap phone. Maybe some day I'll have the extra time and money to buy it on PC and see for myself. That said, the narration is amazing, the premise is great, and even if I never become skilled enough to beat the game, I still enjoy the experience.
