Red Tide is a medieval dark fantasy RPG story with turn-based combat about a former soldier who is searching for his family in a world ravaged by war. A lot of choices are on your path, and each of them determines the future of your fantasy adventure story. What will you choose?
The world has changed. The place where you were born was burned to ash. People out there are struggling to survive. Your brother is gone without a trace. What happened to him? The answer to this question lies at the end of a long and dangerous journey.
You are a shadow of your former self, having suffered grave injuries during the war. But the past is the past. What matters is the here and now. You have the freedom to shape your own destiny.
There is always a choice. And your choices matter!

I downloaded this game this morning and I haven't even got to the part where I have to pay. I definitely will. Not only is the story good, the gameplay is superb. It is a difficult game, but not frustrating. It has the spirit of both the fighting fantasy game books and the elder scrolls games. Best of all, the designer has made a game which both realises the limitations of the mobile platform, but exploits them to make an almost perfect game. I will review again when I've paid.

I downloaded this game this morning and I haven't even got to the part where I have to pay. I definitely will. Not only is the story good, the gameplay is superb. It is a difficult game, but not frustrating. It has the spirit of both the fighting fantasy game books and the elder scrolls games. Best of all, the designer has made a game which both realises the limitations of the mobile platform, but exploits them to make an almost perfect game. I will review again when I've paid.

Be aware that you have to pay after a certain point ig, but I think the price ($5-6 if I remember correctly) is worth it. The lore in this game is nice, the turn-based combat is straightforward, and the plotline is good. Decisions you make DO have an impact on final outcomes, which is more than can be said for many RPGs nowadays. This is definitely a good game, and I look forward to the next one the devs are making.

Be aware that you have to pay after a certain point ig, but I think the price ($5-6 if I remember correctly) is worth it. When I finished playing there was no option to continue, so what's the purpose of having tons of cash from the final mission if you can't spend it? Travel between realms was also a one way trip, hence if you entered a tough one you're doomed as there're also little opportunities for farming. Towns don't have Inns, resources don't respawn, clues are minimum, and in general the story offers minimum branching. Story forks seem to be possible but there's no clear clues on how to retrieve it.
