This is an intermediary version which features improvements to the older aircraft: C/HC/MC-400, RL-42/72, E-42, and XV/PV-40:
* Added transparent windows.
* Added destructible front portions.
* Added upper escape hatches to the C/HC/MC-400, RL-42/72, and E-42.
* Added a few more details to the interior and exterior textures of all the mentioned aircraft.
* Made some more changes to the interiors and exteriors of the mentioned aircraft (see in-game FAQ for more details).
* Fixed various bugs.

When a developer cares deeply about not only their game but also its players, you get a gem like this. Continous development across all these years expanding on the game's width and depth, this is a true simulator. Despite its (currently) limited selection of aircraft, each aircraft has unique features and characteristics- systems&damage model- enough content to be a sim of its own. Sandbox is my favourite since it gives players the tools to entertain themselves by creating limitless scenarios.

this game is GREAT, it is realistic and you can control your own character, you can fly planes, drive cars, going around on foot, auto pilot and sit on passenger seat and pretend you is a passenger, even skydiving! and it is totally the game I love, I hope controllable plane error could be added in free-flight mode so we can remake some air accident easily, because it is so hard to make some plane errors in freeflight mode such as engine failure or something like that. waiting for better update

One of the most realistic games for free but I think they should add some jet planes too even though it's a turboprop simulator that would be fun and more details to the map and more islands. Like trees can be added
